# Prompts and skills

> Tested prompts and ready-to-install Claude skills for prospecting, enrichment, account research, job-change outreach, and campaigns with the Seamless.AI MCP server.

These prompts work in any client connected to the [Seamless MCP server](/api-catalog/mcp), such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code. Copy one, change the details in brackets, and run it.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Search and research use credits. Ask the assistant to show a count and the expected cost before it researches records, as several prompts below do.

## Claude skills

A skill teaches Claude a repeatable workflow. Save each one as `SKILL.md` in its own folder under your skills directory, for example `~/.claude/skills/seamless-account-brief/SKILL.md`. Each needs the Seamless MCP server connected.

```markdown Account brief theme={null}
---
name: seamless-account-brief
description: Build a one-page account brief for a company domain using Seamless.AI. Use when the user asks to research, profile, or brief on a company or account.
---
# Account brief with Seamless.AI
1. Call `search_companies` with `companyDomain: [<domain>]` and `limit: 1`. If nothing is found, say so and stop.
2. Report: name, description, industry, employee count, revenue range, HQ, technologies, latest funding, and recent news events.
3. Call `search_contacts` with `companyDomain: [<domain>]`, `seniority: ["C-Level", "VP"]`, `limit: 10`.
4. Show the people in a table: name, title, department, location.
5. Don't call `research_contacts` unless the user asks. Research spends credits.
```

```markdown Enrich a list theme={null}
---
name: seamless-enrich-list
description: Enrich a list of emails, LinkedIn URLs, or names with companies using Seamless.AI research. Use when the user wants contact details for a list of people.
---
# Enrich a list with Seamless.AI
1. Count the records and call `get_credits`. Tell the user the cost (1 credit per record) and the balance, and ask to proceed.
2. Call `research_contacts` with up to 500 identities per call, using `email`, `liProfileUrl`, or `contactName` with `companyName` or `domain`.
3. Call `poll_contact_research` with the returned request IDs every few seconds until none are `queued` or `researching`.
4. For `duplicate`, read the record with `get_my_contacts` instead of researching again.
5. Return a table: input, name, title, company, best email, phone, and status.
```

```markdown Job-change check theme={null}
---
name: seamless-job-change-check
description: Check whether known contacts changed jobs using Seamless.AI. Use when the user asks which champions, customers, or contacts moved to a new company.
---
# Job-change check with Seamless.AI
1. Collect each person's name, last known company, and title.
2. Call `research_contacts` with `isJobChange: true` and the `contacts` array. Confirm the credit cost first.
3. Poll with `poll_contact_research` until every job is finished.
4. Report who moved: name, old company and title, new company and title, start date.
5. Offer to add the movers to a list for outreach.
```
