# Company Search API

> Build target account lists by industry, SIC/NAICS, headcount, revenue, location, technologies, funding, and company news.

The Company Search API returns companies that match your ideal customer profile. Each result carries a `searchResultId` that you pass to the [Company Research API](/api-catalog/company-enrichment) for the full firmographic record.

> Up to 500 per page. Paginate with `nextToken`.

## Use it for

* Building a total addressable market (TAM) list for a territory or segment.
* Finding companies that use, or recently adopted, specific technologies.
* Timing outreach to funding rounds, expansions, leadership changes, and acquisitions.
* Matching a list of company names or domains to Seamless records.
