## Introduction

Find companies with recent acquisitions, expansions, investments, leadership changes, and more. Combine it with any other filter in the same request (AND logic).

## Reference

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `newsTypes` | string\[] | Yes | Filter companies by news or event type. Up to 8 values. |
| `newsTypeDates` | string\[] | No | Limit news results to a rolling window of 60, 90, 180, or 365 days. Send one value; only the first is applied. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Results per page, up to 500. Default `50`. |
| `nextToken` | string | No | Cursor from `supplementalData.nextToken` to fetch the next page. |

**Allowed values for `newsTypes`:** `Acquisition`, `Corporate Challenges`, `Cost Cutting`, `Expansion`, `Investment`, `Leadership`, `Partnership`, `Recognition`

**Allowed values for `newsTypeDates`:** `60`, `90`, `180`, `365`

## Response

Rows are company previews with `searchResultId`, `companyName`, `domain`, address, industry, size, revenue, technologies, and `newsAndEvents`. Send `searchResultId` to [Company Research](/api-catalog/company-enrichment) for the full record. Fields: [Company Search](/api-catalog/company-search).
